Do we need a "Fix It Yourself" category? This owner has seen the "fix it yourself" answer so many times, he doesn't even try to get a solution from the Kompany:

Would someone who has the fire ring out of their K7 please measure the inside diameter of the K at the level of the bottom of the lump saver? Seems that rod fireboxes are not available and a new fire ring doesn't seem to be forthcoming, so I guess I'll have to fabricate some sort of solution myself. I don't dare take mine out until I have something to replace it with.

Of course, doesn't he realize that if anyone removes their fire ring, they will void the warrantee. That's practically what they told Porkchop about his firebox. Ooops! I forgot! There is no warrantee! |
