It's happening to me |

I went out to fire up my almost three year old #5 MexiK Sunday and saw my future this summer. Stripping and retiling. It's been its first hard winter in Chicago and it couldn't hack it. Damper tiles are like loose teeth and grout is cracking on the lid and body. Knuckle knocking yields a dreadful loose sound through out. So far, no body cracks though.
I don't cover my K's so they do collect some snow. I didn't buy them to cover them was my philosophy.
Forgive me for asking, but if anyone has experience with the retiling process and wishes to share, please send me a note. I have to expect I'll do a better job.
Thanks. |

Who knows the ins and outs of self-repair better than we do?
I sent you a PM.
Good luck with your project.
PHOTOS would be especially nice and appreciated!

The details in your PM are exactly what I was looking for. I hope my work will hold up better than theirs! I think its time to email JohnnyBoy for some covers.
Thanks!!!!
