I'm predicting a sh*tstorm. |

The NakedWhiz has reviewed the latest batch of charcoal.
But all speculation aside, we have to give this charcoal a rating based upon its performance which was extremely poor compared to everything else we have tested. With a burn time near the bottom of the list and the ash production an all-time high, this charcoal gets a 3.5.

Not the Koal man...that's all he had going for him. Oh well, he's a crook so he's formed bricketts to look like extruded and trying to get rich, who would have ever thunk |

From the Whiz's review, it sounds like it's not worth paying for.
Not advocating that he not pay. Just couldn't resist the quip. |

That's one scary review. So is all of the new batch from Indonesia or is it mixed Thai/Indo? I thought they said they were getting it from Thailand. Maybe I'm just getting lost in all the convolutions.
Oh look... how long will this post last?

There are reports from this REVIEW that the density (look at the pic in the link) and the burn time of the extruded KEC has gone down significantly...Can anyone who has been a long time user comment on this? |

That is just the sound of their legendary customer service.
I guess you do not have to have that really long lasting clean burning charcoal to burn your customers.
The phrase that really stands out right know is how they don't make a profit on the charcoal. |

They're having a quiet moment. Somethings are better kept out of the limelight. There's denial, scheming, spin-doctoring, and a whole lot of pillow-biting goin' on.
Maybe even some revelation.
A whole gamut of human activities best done in private.
Give 'em space, dammit. |

Seriously, WTF??? Their best and brightest (I'm looking at you Piddles!) hasn't figured how to portray RJ as the noble victim yet?
I'm sorely disappointed. |

I wonder when the usual defenders will trot out to start their defense. Maybe some of them have been stuck with a pallet of that stuff.
Then you have someone like Johnnyboy who got moldy koal to start with and then they replace it with this stuff. He's been screwed twice.
I'm sure Richard will find a use for all the koal he will be stuck with. Maybe he will crumble it up and add to his new 2008 formula.
Maybe they will rush to fill all the orders they have been ignoring. I believe when he sold the moldy lump he said he would refund the purchase price if the customer shipped it back at their own expense! |

What a joke...that's as much as the charcoal costs. Why doesn't he just let them show him a video of the charcoal burning in a bonfire or something. |
