You won't hear anything. I tried to get a firebox for the last 1 1/2 years. I was even told on more than one occasion that it had shipped and when I asked for a tracking number I was then told "oh we didn't get it out today it will go out tomorrow". Guess what...I am now a proud owner of a Primo XL. It's great, I highly recommend. Still although my 7 has a large crack from the lip all the way to the air vent near the bottom and the top is almost broken in two (I don't screw it down too tight for fear it will break in half like many I've seen on here lately)I would still like to try and repair it and use it as a second grill when my Primo XL is full (which takes a lot, with all the headroom, the oval shape and all the additional racks it will hold a ton of food). Forget about the warranty on one of these Kamados, hell mine is still under warranty but I don't even ask about that. I've been trying to PAY for a firebox that should still be under warranty and still can't get one. I love my 7 but it's almost in shambles now and I can't get anything but false promises. |
