I bought my 1st Kamado from the Pachinko Palace in Bellevue, WA about 1976.
I bought my 2nd about 5 years ago.
For the last couple of months I've been trying to get some accessories from Kamado.
From all the negative posts and my experience it appears that Richard has somehow ruined his company. It looks like my next Kamado will be a Big Green Egg.
This is extremely sad. When I dazzle guests with cooking they always ask about my Kamado. I tell them what a great product it is but don't try to buy one. | |

Hello Barney,
...Do you leave your #7 exposed to the Portland rain...?

Sounds appropriate to me.

It seems that I learn something new every time we Kook. Last night it was how Deborah starts the charcoal. It is a unique way and worth sharing the techinque (just have to get her to post pictures and description).

My guess: a match, a charcoal chimney, and a pile of stock certificates. |
