That K forum poster was me. I only discovered this forum last night.
I've owned my #7 for over 10 years, and have always known that their customer service was bad, but this is criminal.
When I called to place the parts order, I thought it was a bit odd that they needed an "unblocked" number to receive a call. That should have been my first clue that things were foul. Why would a reputable business need to screen their calls?
I got mad tonight and posted my complaint on every section of the kamado forum I could. Imagine my surprise that they were all deleted, and my account was "suspended." I've been a loyal customer for 10 years, but this is the last straw.
After my account was suspended, I filed a complaint with the BBB and a mail fraud complaint with the USPS Postal Inspector.
I'm sure the "Johnsons" or whoever they really are, are monitoring this forum as well as their own.

Be thankful they only took you for the cost of some accessories, they have taken some of us for a lot more. They are crooks by every meaning of the word. Its amazing that they still survive by stealing from their loyal customers. Sorry to hear about your loss. Good luck. |

I received an email from Richelle Johnson saying that my parts order was dropped off with UPS yesterday. She sent me a tracking number. According to UPS, they have only received "billing information" about the shipment.
Wouldn't UPS show possession of a package after 24 hours? |

Why can't we do what they did in the Frankenstein movies. Let's all gather clubs, sticks, rakes and trouches and show up on thier doorstep. I'd say when the total sum of everybody they've screwed starts yelling we want we paid for, they might get weak in the knees. |

We can't do that because their "doorstep" is a" Mailboxes Ect." I did a Google Earth search.
I'm really thinking about a pellet grill now. |

Here it is Monday, and UPS still shows that it has only received "billing info." The glimmer of hope I had of ever getting the parts is quickly fading. |

I'm very pleasantly surprised to report that my parts order arrived today!
I'm back in the K business, but this is the final order I'll ever place. When it needs parts again, I'm moving on.

i guess this IS the place to go when you need results from them! we are the NEW kamado customer service contact! they should just give up and list us on their website for "parts and warranty"... _________________ Expand Q Consciousness
