OH NO! RJ trys to sucker owners into selling his krap again

This BS just arrived:

Quote:
Some Background:

As most of you know I designed an electric Kamado #3 and #5 in 2000 and sold quite a few since then but we had little interest in improving or promoting electric. Even though the electric was very convenient, worked fairly well and was reasonably dependable there were needed improvements. Our early electric Kamado did have the key element for success that no other electric barbeque grill had or has…..heavy thick ceramic walls to keep the heat in rather than dissipate the heat through thin metal or even thin ceramic walls. New regulations today make the electric Kamado viability a different matter altogether as millions of homes and virtually all condominiums and apartments have restrictions on gas and charcoal grills. To those enjoying good food and the party that usually accompanies the barbeque, these restrictions are a disastrous life change.

I have re-designed the new Electric Kamado to meet and hopefully fulfill their desire for Kamado Kooking including those living in condominiums and apartments that have restrictions on “open flames” including all gas and charcoal grills on their balconies or patios. Most importantly, the Kooking results are as good as our Kamado, if not better because of the moisture and in most cases the food results are indistinguishable from our charcoal Kamado. We do admit to putting a chunk of flavoring wood in the firebox.

Some Considerations:

I bring the subject of the Electric Kamado up here for the following considerations:

1) If at a later time you might move to a condo or where some ugly “open flame” restrictions that land on your home and attempt to change lifestyle you not need be concerned. An electric retrofit is available and little effort is all that is necessary to convert your Kamado to electric, including new electric elements for the #7 and #9 Kamados. If the balcony happens to be too small for your #7 or #9, a sale on Craig’s list will probably pay for the #3 or #5. One thing for sure, you will not be disappointed in the Kooking results of the Electric Kamado and certainly not on the simplicity of using electric instead of dealing with charcoal or unacceptable gas.

2) The Electric Kamado “marketing plan” is somewhat modeled after Pampered Chef’s home demonstrations. Actually, this is turning out to be profitable and fun for everyone. The #3 is normally used and you can imagine all the unique items that can be demonstrated. A #3 isn’t the easiest thing to take to the 20th floor condo balcony nor will it take the shortest time after telling many of the properties residence “what it is and does”. If you are somewhat of an extrovert, enjoy partying, Kooking, meeting new friends, having fun and making some extra money why don’t you email chef@electrickamado.com for some ideas.
3) Most of you Kamado owners have had “demonstrations” or really parties for many years and have been kind enough to refer customers to us and we have always directly or indirectly thanked you very much. Unfortunately we have most always worked on such a low margin of profit that we have never been able to give gifts or a commission of some sort. The Electric Kamado Underwriters Laboratory certifications, European and other listing requirements makes the manufacturing and sales price higher; still the Electric Kamado marketing program includes important cash or other reward, as it always should have occurred.

We hope you will take a look at the Electric Kamado’s new website www.electrickamado.com and above all let us know if we can give you a little more information how you might want to use your Kooking experience, have some fun, make some new friends and make some money.

Thanks and regards from all of us at Kamado

Do you think he has some inventory of old Krapado's that he is retrofitting with electric elements and now trying to sell? Or, more likely, he has nothing to sell and is going after a new group of potential suckers who live in apartments? They couldn't have a charcoal grill before, so they never experienced the pain of dealing with Richard, so they are a fresh bunch of suckers.
