Well, as I didn't get anywhere with my emails or phone calls I decided to make my own top hat. See photos attached. It doesn't look as nice as the original, but it works like a charm. Actually now it's easier to control the temperature as I just slide the cover open or close.

What kind of business could they have had if they just took care of it?

One thing I can say about them, is they sure know how to run a company in the ground.

The johnson's have wasted an opportunity that not everyone gets. Who do you blame it on? The girls? Or the old man? Or all of them? |

Hello Richard,

I too have a broken damper - I'm using a large stone paver that covers the hole nicely, and doesn't heat up so much. Still, a pain in the butt to keep taking it off every time I open the dome.

I called, emailed, Tony said there's some problem with the email system. Do you think you could help facilitate this? Looking for a new damper #7 cobalt, a new lumpsaver, new firebox (mine's cracked and if I remove to clean out ash, it'll be in pieces and may not ever fit back inside), and looking for about a pallet of coconut charcoal.

Any help is most appreciated,

Thanks,

Do you think we'll develop emotional problems from being ignored?

				| Funny that Tony would be repeating the Richard Johnson lies. At one point, Tony seemed to be getting fed up with RJ's antics and expressed his frustration to a kustomer. I wonder why Tony would even be hanging around this dying disaster. Maybe RJ is paying Tony a fee to keep people from bothering him so he can go to the casino breakfast buffets in peace and quiet. |
