Hubbie and I are trying to make vacation plans for later in the year. He wants to do the Eggtoberfest in Atlanta.
Atlanta, Schmalanta. I want to go somewhere fun. Maybe go to a casino, see some shows, AND do some cue'ing and schmoozing.
How 'bout it K company? Any possiblity of a Kamadofest this year?
I bet you could lure us to SoCal if that's a better spot. |
I know that I am very interested. |

Perhaps we should post the photo of the daughter eating from a McDonald's bag at one of the few K-fests, that they managed to pull off..... |

Wow... nobody home? Figured someone would at least acknowledge the question. Guess that's all the answer I'm going to get.
Looks like I'm Eggtoberfest bound. Maybe I'll check back next year.
Sigh.

Daisey, I didn't respond to your post simply because I live in Kentucky, and it is just not possible for me to drag my #7 kooker to wherever on the left coast this K fest would be held. so I saved bandwidth.

Hey, how about Las Vegas??? I can bring the new #11 Kamado prototype and we can all cook on it (and some others, of course). We have some great spots to have it as well as hotel support. If you don't win a Kamado prize you can take back some $$$ winnings.

Oh, I'm sorry Bobh. I wasn't upset that a member didn't respond. But thanks for letting me know someone did read my message. I wasn't so sure.
It's just that I was dissappointed that someone with the company couldn't be bothered. Weren't there a few annual kamadofests in the past? I once chatted with someone that attended. It sounded like fun. Seems they should be having more of them.
Maybe I should be more patient. Sorry I got myself into a snit.

Oh, I see I got the response I was hoping for while I was busy typing the previous message!
Thanks for answering. Sounds exciting. Any place other than Atlanta will be fine by me. I'll keep watching the forum to see if you can pin down a time and place. Hubbie's travel plans are going to have to wait until then. |

Just stay away from the investors brunch. That's where some serious money could be lost.
At least in Las Vegas, you don't have to worry about him test driving your yacht while you're there. |

Please do so... don't know that one. In fact, the photo album would be cool. Just a sweet memory of the prestige and good will they once had.
Probably couldn't find 5 fans to hold a circle jerk in his name now. Winner gets a Kamado. Second place gets two. |

Beautiful !!! |

The post- not the daughter.
The Johnson clan should be really proud of this event, I can count maybe 20 people in all.
Bet it was a tough ticket to get.
Of the 20, how many do you think would like to strangle RJ now?
Doesn't the guy behind her left shoulder look like he is stalking her. |

RJ's been studying 419 scams for so long, he's beginning to sound like them. |

Maybe there are no SEcretes, but there's certainly a lot of EXcretes when it comes to ol' Dick Johnson... Everytime he opens his mouth, excretions come pouring forth. _________________ --
