Henry, sorry about the Firebox. I will make sure the girls give you the information tomorrow. I have changed the formula and am shipping products weekly from Singapore so it might take a little longer then we would like until we get an inventory of spare parts locally. In the mean time, let's see if we can get yours operational, if we have to wait, I am sure we can. It is awful being w/o cooking on your Kamado. If you don't mind, please take a picture and email it to richardj@kamado.com. Thanks, Richard |

Anyone want to speculate on how long they last in Singapore or where they will land next? |

According to RJ, he is now shipping "some parts" from Singapore. |

Given RJ's statement of shipping parts from Singapore (he was referrring to replacing a firebox and to a new formula ), and the relocation of the sales/logistics office , I would say they are making changes. Note that the most recent customer service specialist (Tony) has been absent in recent discussions about unanswered phone calls, emails, etc. and Richard being slightly more active on the forum. |

Well, he can only get someone to work for stock certificates for so long...they eventually find out that the stock ain't worth the paper it's printed on and they leave.
That's the second Tony he took for a significant amount of loot |

I wonder whats different about hs new "formula". Anyone else want to speculate that he is likely plagiarizing another vendors formula? |

I just hope all their customers realize that moving production will mean major upheaval and turmoil. Though the Johnsons will do their very best, customer service may be lacking for a very brief period of time.
But just as long as they're patient, the customers will be rewarded with a product and service unmatched anywhere in the the ceramic cooking world. |

My guess is that his 'new formula' is in reference to the kool-aide I'd say he's had to double the strength due to those old time faithfuls leaving the flock. He's losing his grip and needs better stuff. |
I'm sure he is busy getting a patent on the new formula Notice this time there isn't the grand announcement that he is doing production in Singapore like there was for Indonesia and Mexico. He kinda made that statement very low profile. |

As an added Bonus, they now have another layer of logistics to blams slow production and non delivery on...

Richard-- I think this is a question that all Kamado users/fans would be interested in having answered in open forum, not just in personal emails, as it heavily affects availability/supply/scheduling of anything we all may potentially be interested in buying (whether accessories or complete units).
I think we are all interested!
Looking forward to more info!
